Planning Boards & Commissions
The Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, and Building Appeals Board are volunteer bodies composed of residents appointed by Borough Council. They are charged with providing input on and making certain decisions regarding planning and zoning matters in the Borough. Meetings: 4th Tuesday of each month (unless noted) at 6:30 PM
Meeting Location: Council Chambers, 140 Bradford Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 and Zoom.

Crafton Zoning Hearing Board
The Zoning Hearing Board hears and rules on appeals by applicants for variances or special exceptions from determinations by the Zoning Officer under provisions of the Borough Zoning Ordinance. The Board is comprised of three full members and two alternate members who serve three-year terms. Meetings/hearings are scheduled as needed.

UCC Joint Board of Appeals
The UCC Joint Board of Appeals reviews cases involving enforcement of the Building Code. Members must have qualifying criteria and a construction/builder background. The Board is comprised of members from each community, including Carnegie Borough, Crafton Borough, Crescent Township, Green Tree Borough, Ingram Borough, McKees Rocks Borough, Neville Township, North Fayette Township, and Stowe Township under the direction of the Char West Council of Governments.
